Euro 2016 - French Football Itinerary


Day 1 – 9th June - San Remo to Villefranche

Land at Nice Airport and join the boat in San Remo port by limousine, approximately 40 minutes drive. Settle in on board with a refreshment prepared for you by the chef. Cruise to Villefranche, past Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, along the beautiful scenic coast while you enjoy your lunch onboard.
Arriving at the cove of Villefranche, take your time to benefit from the large sunbathing space on deck, the many water toys or simply have a swim in the crystal clear, turquoise waters of this unique spot at the Cote d'Azur.
Time for sundowners on deck followed by a delicious lunch with local specialties exclusively prepared for you by the chef.

Day 2 – 10th June – Villefranche to Marseille

Indulge in a breakfast on deck with fresh croissants, orange juice and a glass of champagne with the sun peaking over the top of the hills.
Lunch on board while cruising down the coast towards Marseille. Enjoy the view on the ever changing landscape along the Cote d'Azur. You will have the chance to explore Nice, Cannes and Saint Tropez on your way back from Marseille, so do look forward to it.
Stop in between for a refreshing swim at Les Calanque and benefit from a little break along the way.
Arriving at your berth in the old port of Marseille in the afternoon.
Time to go ashore and discover the old, historic town of the previous crusader's port 'Massilia'. Whether you prefer to have dinner in one of the local restaurants with a delicious meal of the region or on board your yacht with view on the port in a relaxing atmosphere, the choice is entirely yours.

Day 3 – 11th June – Marseille

Today is all about letting yourself get carried away by the football fever. Tonight's big game Russia – England is marking the highlight of your day.
Wake up to a refreshing breakfast on board before you take off to explore the city of Marseille with its shopping possibilities and many restaurants. Pick a nice sunny terrace for your lunch stop and continue your stroll through town.
Return to your yacht in the late afternoon for a cocktail on the aft deck or an aperitif before dinner preparations start. Early dinner, as you will get picked up with a limousine and taken to the Stade de Velodrome for the big game at around 7 pm.
Time to settle in your VIP area with immaculate view on the football field. Get enticed by the atmosphere of the cheering crowd and the tension before the game. Enjoy an evening full of anxiety and may the best team!
Your limousine awaits you right after the match and will take you back to the port. Choose to stay up on deck for after hours and a cocktail and revive the happenings of this exciting day.


Day 4 – 12th June – Marseille to Les Porqueroles

Early sailing towards Les Porqueroles past the stunning coastal line of Cassis and Bandol. While you take pleasure in sunbathing on deck after a rich breakfast, the yacht is making its way through the turquoise waters to one of the most appreciated sailing destinations in this area. The islands of Porqueroles offer not only a beautiful view, but also sandy beaches surrounded by green, bizarre rock formations and endless blue water as far as the eye can see.
Enjoy the day in relaxed surrounding with a light breeze and sunshine. Time for using the water toys, snorkeling gear and getting your swim suits out. Dive into the cool water and spend a fun and relaxing day with your family.
Why not rent bicycles and take a ride around the island? While you are out exploring the islands' beautiful sites and hidden corners, the crew will prepare a pick-nick on the beach that awaits you upon your return. The afternoon and evening well spend in this laid back atmosphere, return back to the yacht by tender and let the happenings of the day linger for a while with a cocktail on the sun deck.

Day 5 – 13th June – Les Porqueroles to Saint Tropez

Wake up to a stunning view anchored off the islands of Porqueroles and benefit from the refreshing sea after a delicious breakfast on the aft deck. Snorkeling, swimming, water sports...anything your heart desires. Relax is the word of the day.
Head out ashore for a tasty lunch in one of the famous local restaurants and spend the afternoon on the island before taking the tender back to the yacht.
Sail off into the sunset towards your next destination
Saint Tropez.
Dinner on board the yacht in Saint Tropez and the possibility of diving into the famous nightlife of this charming little fishing village.

Day 6 – 14th June – Saint Tropez to Cannes

Swimming and snorkeling off the coast of Saint Tropez is the perfect way to start the day. Let the chef prepare a delicious lunch for you on board which you can enjoy on the sundeck. Take the tender ashore and spend the afternoon in the beautiful village of Saint Tropez. The evening will be taking you back to the boat setting sail towards Cannes, your next stop.

Day 7 – 15th June – Cannes

Relax in the morning on board the yacht, sunbathing or with one of the many water sport activities.
Transfer to Nice Airport for your flight Nice – Lille to watch the football match. Travel arrangements will be suggested and put in place closer to the date.
For those not sharing the football fever, Cannes has many things to offer. Walk through the fancy town with its famous shopping mile, Rue d'Antibes or stride along the well-known sea promenade, La Croisette with its posh boutiques and charming restaurants that invite the passer-by to linger on for a tasty lunch or glass of Rose in the sun.


Day 8 – 16th June – Nice

Return from the yesterday's football event in Lille to Nice Airport and join the yacht in the port of Nice.
Take the day to explore this charming city with its famous old town, beach front promenade, flower market and countless restaurants and cafes. Take in the Italian charisma mixed with French Riviera flair and enjoy a stroll through the narrow streets and vibrant squares. End the day with a mouth-watering dinner in one of the local restaurants and make sure you try the original Salade Nicoise, a Pan Bagnat or Socca, the most famous dish in Nice.
Later that evening, the yacht will lift anchor and head towards your next destination – the picturesque island of Corsica.


Day 9 – 17th June – Nice to Calvi

Having arrived in Corsica already during the night, you will wake up this morning to the breathtaking view on the unique coastal line of this 'wild nature' island.
Enjoy your breakfast at anchor before you consider a dive into the crystal clear waters. Take the whole morning to relax, sunbath and benefit from your time on board, before heading ashore after lunch for a stroll around the lovely town of Calvi with its Citadel, charming cafes and scenic walk along the ramparts.

Day 10 – 18th June – Calvi to Girolata

Cruise down the rugged and beautiful west coast of Corsica to the small, protected port of Girolata. This port is a little village with rocky inlets, and a superb anchorage. Have the tender take you ashore or simply choose to stay on board and take pleasure in sunbathing, water sport activities, swimming and snorkeling. Whatever activity it will be, this is the perfect scenery and spot for any kind.
Indulge in a light dinner on board after watching the sunset with refreshing cocktails.
Overnight at Girolata.

Day 11 – 19th June – Girolata to Narbonne

Use this day to enjoy a slow cruise southwards along the scenic coast and search for the best anchoring spot. Spend the day snorkeling and swimming in the azure blue waters of the Corsican Mediterranean and benefit from the delicious food and excellent service on board. Pure family time, before the yachts prepares to lift anchor.
Cruising overnight, arrival in the early morning hours in Narbonne.

Day 12 – 20th June – Narbonne

Today everything is focused on football again. But you still have the full day in front of you. You will have arrived in Narbonne during the early hours, so take the chance for an early breakfast on deck with view on a coastal line different from your Corsica experience. Narbonne is ready to be explored. This very old town was first mentioned in the 5th century BC, hence, a lot to discover and see. Take a walk through the old town with its cathedral from 1272, remains of Roman ruins, the Archbishop's palace and the Canal de la Rubine, running through the centre of town, giving it a romantic note.
Make time for a lunch stop at one of the local restaurants and continue the afternoon with a bit of shopping and a cafe on one of the sunny terraces in the town's coffee shops.
The football match starts at 9 pm which leaves you enough time to return back to the boat in the afternoon and prepare for the pick up by limousine which will take to on the 2 hours drive up the A61 to the place of happening – Toulouse.
For those not giving in to the football fever, there is the beautiful Narbonne beach waiting for you to spend time on. Watch the sunset from on board the yacht and look forward to an evening of homemade dinner specialties prepared by the chef and a possibility of having a family movie night on the sun deck.

Day 13 – 21st June – Narbonne to Monaco

Head back towards Monaco. Enjoy the breeze and sun on deck and make a stop in Cannes, at Les Iles de Lerins, on the way. Benefit from a stopover off the coast of these two small island gems and have a swim and get the snorkeling gear out, as this is a fantastic spot for water activities.
Lunch on board with view on the attractive skyline of Cannes. Onward sailing to Monaco where you will arrive in the afternoon, right on time to have a walk through the posh centre of town, Monte Carlo, with its famous casino and renowned hotels surrounding it.
Prepare for an evening out in Monaco with a savoury dinner at one of the principalities excellent restaurants.
Enjoy a digestif back on board to end the evening and your stay on board the yacht and let the reminiscences of these past two unforgettable weeks take their place in your book of memories.

Day 14 – 22nd June – Monaco

Early bird breakfast on deck and transfer to the airport in Nice. We hope you had a wonderful time on board and take back extraordinary impressions
